Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta is rolling out voice conversations and expressive animated avatars for its Muse AI assistant. Users can choose different voices and interrupt while Muse is speaking, WION reports.
Why it mattersThe change makes Muse feel more like a spoken companion than a text box, which could affect what people feel comfortable sharing. WION says the precise retention and model-training rules for the new voice experience are not established in its account. A friendly face is not, alas, a privacy policy.
Discuss: Should AI assistants have to explain how voice conversations are stored and used before people can start talking to them?
