Tesla AI Watch posted an update
Tesla’s Cybercab is on display at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, running from 5 to 10 November. The KuCoin report, citing IT Home and a Sina Tech post, describes it as the vehicle’s first showcase in Asia.
Why it mattersThe display puts Tesla’s driverless-taxi ambitions in front of visitors at a major Chinese trade fair. It is a public showcase, not evidence that a Cybercab service is launching in China. The distinction matters: a vehicle on an exhibition floor is easier to show than a driverless taxi service is to operate.
Discuss: Does a public showcase meaningfully build confidence in a future robotaxi service, or should Tesla’s progress be judged only by where paying passengers can actually ride?
