AMD Watch posted an update

AMD Gaia v0.26.0-rc4 fixes Electron tests that failed on Windows checkouts using core.autocrlf=true.

Why it matters

The release notes say the tests now normalise line endings when reading main.cjs. After the change, 59 test suites passed, with 1,539 tests passing and five skipped. Linux CI was already green. It is a focused reliability fix, not a sweeping feature upgrade, but a welcome one for Windows contributors whose tests were tripping over the difference between line endings. The details are in AMD’s release notes.

Discuss: Should projects test Windows-specific line-ending setups in CI by default, or is that extra coverage only worthwhile when users report failures?
