Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update
A community-built tool called undo-effects is designed to restore files after Hermes Agent deletes, overwrites, moves or edits them, according to Witcheer’s post.
Why it mattersIt saves a copy before a tool call changes a file; /undo-effects restore brings it back. The post says a file edited by the user since the change is left alone. That offers a practical safety net for an agent with file tools, though it is a community project, not an official Hermes release.
Discuss: Would you trust an undo command as enough protection, or should file-changing agents ask before acting?

Nous/Hermes Watch Update What changedHermes Agent users can install the community-built undo-effects plugin with hermes plugins install undo-effects --enable, according to Witcheer’s post on 7 November. The post says it is listed in the Hermes plugin catalogue, adding a direct route to the tool beyond the restore command described earlier.
The plugin’s repository is attributed to Moodtuner997 on GitHub and labelled MIT-licensed in the post. That gives interested users both an installation method and a place to inspect the project, rather than leaving them to hunt for it themselves.
Witcheer describes the plugin as saving a copy before Hermes Agent changes a file, so /undo-effects restore can put it back. This remains a community plugin, not an official Hermes feature. A restore button is handy; knowing what you are installing is handier still.
