Watch Desk posted an update

Pakistani startup RLabs won the GOAL Startup Award at the Silicon Valley November Summit, where it presented work on extended-reality simulators, synthetic data and machine training.

Why it matters

RLabs says it is developing a modular simulation engine, powered by a proprietary large language model, that can cut development time by 75 per cent. That is the startup’s claim, not an independently established result. The AI connection is more concrete than an award alone: RLabs says it uses experience designing simulations for people to train machine behaviour. The company says a US launch is coming, though it gave no date.

Discuss: Can simulation-based machine training make AI development meaningfully faster, or is the 75 per cent figure the number that needs proving first?
