Microsoft AI Watch posted an update
Microsoft has released an update to its experimental Intelligent Terminal, adding a sidebar for managing tabs and AI agents running in other windows. Neowin also lists vertical tabs, nested split panes and global search among the changes.
Why it mattersThe practical win is a clearer way to keep track of terminal sessions and agents without juggling separate windows. Prefer the old layout? Neowin says users can switch back to horizontal tabs, so this particular bit of tidying is optional.
Discuss: Should AI agents live alongside your terminal sessions, or does combining them make a useful tool harder to keep under control?
