Open WebUI’s v0.10.0 release adds a substantial layer of collaborative and agentic plumbing, including folder sharing, automatic context compaction, computer-agent support, external knowledge bases and a reworked memory system.
Why it mattersIt also introduces event-driven functions and webhooks, pushing the project further from chat front end towards configurable AI workspace. The practical question is whether administrators can make use of that flexibility without turning every deployment into a small platform-engineering project.
