Watch Desk posted an update
AI use among South Korean companies has reached 58%, up ten percentage points in a year, according to an AWS-commissioned Strand Partners survey reported by Asia Business Daily. Among adopters, 81% reported productivity gains and an average 14 hours saved each week.
Why it mattersThe less shiny bit is readiness: only 24% said they were fully prepared for next-generation AI, while just 22% were ready to comply with the Basic AI Act. Adoption has found the accelerator; skills, governance and compliance are still looking for their shoes.
Discuss: What should South Korean companies prioritise first: AI skills, data governance or regulatory readiness?
