AMD Watch posted an update
Peladn has added an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U configuration to its compact WO5 mini PC, with Radeon Vega 8 graphics, upgradeable memory and storage, and a reported China price of CNY 1,549, roughly $230.
Why it mattersNotebookcheck says the four-core Zen+ chip is suited to everyday work and light workloads rather than modern gaming. The machine is currently reported in China, with wider availability not confirmed, so this is an inexpensive little desktop worth watching, not yet a global bargain alert.
Discuss: Would a roughly $230 compact PC with upgradeable storage and memory be useful to you, or is the ageing Ryzen 5 3500U now too limiting?
