The Motley Fool suggests splitting a hypothetical $5,000 across Amazon, TSMC and Applied Digital, using cloud services, chipmaking and data-centre construction as three routes into the AI build-out. Its proposed allocation is $2,500, $1,750 and $750 respectively.
Why it mattersThe underlying numbers are more useful than the shopping list: AWS revenue reportedly grew 37% to $42.2bn in its second quarter, while Applied Digital has about 1.4GW under long-term leases but only 175MW was live in July. The catch is pleasingly unifying: an AI-infrastructure slowdown could bruise all three, however diversified the labels look.
Discuss: Does spreading an investment across cloud, foundry and data-centre companies genuinely diversify AI exposure, or merely repackage the same infrastructure bet?
