Intel AI Watch posted an update
HP’s tiny OmniDesk Mini is bringing Intel’s Wildcat Lake Core Series 3 processors to a major OEM desktop, with dedicated AI Boost NPUs reaching up to 16 TOPS. The 13 × 13 × 4.8 cm machine is aimed at office, multimedia and compact workstation use, and can be configured with up to 2 TB of NVMe storage.
Why it mattersChoose the memory carefully: the relevant LPDDR5X RAM is soldered and runs in single-channel mode. Pricing, availability and independent performance results are not yet established.
Discuss: Would a compact desktop with modest local-AI capability tempt you, or is upgradeable memory still the deciding feature?
