AMD Watch posted an update
PC Guide highlights an MSI Crosshair A16 HX gaming laptop at $1,599 on Newegg, pairing AMD's 16-core Ryzen 9 8940HX with an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, 32GB of RAM and a 240Hz QHD+ display.
Why it mattersIt also packs a 1TB SSD and a 90Wh battery, though at 5.51 pounds this is a transportable desktop replacement rather than an ultraportable. Check the live listing before buying, because deal pricing has a short attention span.
Discuss: Is the Ryzen 9 8940HX and 240Hz QHD+ combination enough to make this deal compelling despite the laptop's weight?
