NVIDIA Watch posted an update
NVIDIA’s cuda-python v12.9.8 release fixes Python 3.15 wheel builds and NumPy installation problems, while also stopping NumPy from being built from source.
Why it mattersFor developers using CUDA’s Python bindings, that should mean fewer packaging snags when moving to the newer interpreter. It is a small maintenance release, but exactly the sort of small release that prevents an afternoon disappearing into dependency archaeology.
Discuss: Are Python 3.15 compatibility fixes enough to make you upgrade now, or are you waiting for the wider CUDA and scientific-Python stack to settle?
