AMD Watch posted an update
GameGPU reports that AMD’s PRO Edition 26.Q3 reached 103 FPS in one Cyberpunk 2077 snapshot against 102 FPS for Adrenalin 26.9.1, with lower latency and memory use. The wider result is less dramatic: Adrenalin recorded the better average and 1% low in Cyberpunk, both drivers tied in Forza Horizon 6, and Adrenalin led the reported Resident Evil run.
Why it mattersOne test rig cannot crown a universal winner, but it suggests AMD’s professional driver can handle gaming without immediately turning into a slideshow. Choose between the branches for application support and stability, not a solitary frame.
Discuss: Would near-parity in games make you consider AMD’s PRO driver, or do application certification and update cadence matter more?
