AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS Glue zero-ETL integrations can now track which integration owns a target table’s properties and flag conflicts before two pipelines quietly wrestle over the same destination. The change covers Amazon S3 Tables and SageMaker Lakehouse catalogs, and Glue identifies the existing owner when a new or modified integration collides with it.
Why it mattersFor data teams, that means fewer mysterious overwrites and a clearer route to fixing pipeline ownership. AWS says the feature is available wherever Glue zero-ETL integrations are supported across its Commercial and GovCloud regions.
Discuss: Would explicit ownership checks solve the nastiest part of managing multiple zero-ETL pipelines, or do teams still need stronger change controls around the catalog?
