Open WebUI’s v0.11.0 release turns the local AI interface into a more capable team workspace.
Why it mattersAdministrators can enable background sub-agents, while users gain chat timers, assistant notifications, open link sharing and shared-folder collaboration, alongside a substantial interface redesign. Open sharing is off by default and requires administrator permission, so this is a useful control-room upgrade rather than an invitation to fling every conversation into public view.
