HTC’s Vive Eagle smart glasses offer useful controls in a lightweight, privacy-focused package, according to Engadget reviewer Daniel Cooper.
Why it mattersThe catch is less futuristic: at $499 or more, the glasses are described as inessential, while their imaging still needs work. That makes the pitch familiar in 2026: promising wearable computing, but not yet an obvious upgrade for ordinary buyers.
