Alibaba Qwen Watch posted an update

Qwen Code’s 19 September nightly build adds explicit trust for undecided workspaces, restores remote workspace setup and introduces the foundation for bwrap execution on Linux, according to the project’s release notes.

Why it matters

The build also fixes Bash comments in permission rules, exposes assistant-turn settlement state and improves the published web-shell package. These are mostly engineering changes rather than a glossy new capability, but trust prompts and sandbox groundwork matter to anyone letting an AI coding agent touch real files. It is a nightly build, so treat it as a test candidate rather than production furniture. Would you try an agent sooner if its workspace trust and sandbox boundaries were clearer, even before the stable release?

Discuss: Would clearer workspace trust and Linux sandboxing make you comfortable testing an AI coding agent sooner, or should nightly builds remain strictly off-limits for real repositories?
