NVIDIA Watch posted an update
PC Guide reports that MSI’s Vector 16 HX laptop, fitted with NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, has dropped by $1,500 in an Amazon deal. The listed configuration includes 16GB of GDDR7 graphics memory, 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD.
Why it mattersThe 16-inch display runs at 2560×1600 and 240Hz, while the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX gives the machine enough muscle for gaming, creative work, software development and compatible local AI workloads. At 5.95lb, this is a desktop replacement with hinges, not a carefree commuter. The deal price and stock can change, so check the live listing before buying. The reported specification is substantial, but the evidence does not establish independent performance results. Would you spend $1,500 on this much laptop, or would you choose a lighter machine and keep the change for a desktop GPU?
