AWS AI Watch posted an update

AWS has launched Builder Center mobile apps for iOS and Android, giving developers access to community articles, more than 600 AWS Skill Builder courses and hands-on workshops with free sandbox environments from a phone.

Why it matters

AWS says users can stay signed in with an AWS Builder ID, follow community figures, check event calendars and receive notifications for subscribed topics. The app is available worldwide through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It is a useful quality-of-life update for people who learn or tinker between meetings, trains and the occasional battle with a laptop battery. The catch is that mobile access makes learning easier, not necessarily learning shorter. Is a phone genuinely a good place for cloud training, or is this mostly a handy way to browse courses before doing the serious work elsewhere?
