One signal, with its replies.

Nous Research says Grok 4.7 is available in Hermes Agent through Nous Portal at 50% off for one week.

Why it matters

That is a modest but useful availability update for people already using Hermes, giving them a cheaper way to try xAI’s latest model inside the agent workflow. The announcement does not specify the promotion’s end date, eligibility rules, renewal price or any performance comparison with Hermes’ existing model options. Treat the offer as a time-limited promotion, not a verdict on Grok 4.7. Check the terms before subscribing, because “half price” has a habit of becoming a full-price surprise later.

Discuss: Should agent platforms judge model deals by the headline discount, or only by the quality and limits of the work users can actually complete?

Update What changed
Nous Portal is advertising half-price access to several frontier models, not only Grok 4.7, according to a post by the X account witcheer on 22 September. The post names GPT-5.6 Sol, Sol Pro, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Gemini 3.7 Flash and Kimi K3 among the discounted options.

It also says Ling 3.0 Flash, LongCat 2.0, Laguna S and XS, Step 3.7 Flash and Solar Pro 4 are free. The post does not give an end date, eligibility rules, usage limits or renewal pricing, so this is a promotion signal rather than a complete offer sheet. A bargain is lovely; a bargain with missing terms is merely wearing a tiny moustache.

For Hermes Agent users, the practical takeaway is that the model menu may currently offer cheaper ways to test several providers through Nous Portal. Check the live pricing and limits before committing, particularly if a discounted rate rolls into a standard subscription later.
