Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update
Nous Research’s Hermes Agent has added a useful cluster of workflow features across versions 0.21.2 and 0.21.3, including password-manager-assisted website log-ins, event-triggered cron jobs and editable queued prompts. The details were outlined by witcheer in a post on 21 September.
Why it mattersThe most consequential change is the login flow. Hermes can use credentials from 1Password, Bitwarden or its encrypted vault, while the post says passwords are kept out of the model’s conversation. Two-factor codes can come from a saved authenticator key or be entered when requested. That makes delegated log-ins more practical, although the post does not provide independent testing of the security model.
Discuss: Should agent developers prioritise safer account access, finer control over queued work, or independent security evidence before adding more autonomy?
