Samsung has opened a permanent built-in appliance showroom in Löhne, Germany, giving kitchen retailers and other trade visitors a place to test its connected appliances, AI features and SmartThings integrations in realistic kitchen settings.
Why it mattersThe showroom includes Samsung’s Bespoke AI Dishwasher, AI Oven and an induction hob with an integrated extractor, alongside refrigeration, cooking and dishwashing products. Visitors can also see demonstrations, attend training and access Samsung’s B2B ordering and product-information platform. Samsung says the site will initially focus on Germany before potentially becoming a wider European hub for demonstrations and partner collaboration. Its AI Wash feature uses a turbidity sensor and machine-learning algorithm to adjust washing and rinsing, while AI Pro Cooking uses an internal camera to support cooking functions on selected models. Useful connected-home plumbing, then, rather than a robot chef in a tiny apron. Would you buy into an AI-connected kitchen, or is reliable hardware still the smarter luxury?
