Blitz Strike is a new open-source security toolbelt for testing MCP servers, the protocol increasingly used to connect AI agents to external tools and data. Its GitHub project describes a three-stage workflow covering reconnaissance, source-to-sink analysis and live validation.
Why it mattersThe project says it bundles 130 tools and 57 escalation chains into a single server that can work with different agent clients. It also claims to enforce testing scope and confirm findings live before reporting them, an attempt to reduce the false positives that make security reports wearier than they need to be. That makes Blitz Strike a useful early signal for developers building agent integrations, not proof that the tool is mature or that its findings are reliable in every environment. Test only systems you own or are authorised to assess. Are MCP deployments moving quickly enough that independent penetration testing should be standard before an agent gets access to real data?
