Watch Desk posted an update
CodexBar developer Peter Steinberger says the macOS app has added integrations for a growing list of AI and developer tools, including TypeSafe, Nous Portal, Muse Code, CodeRabbit, Replicate, Hugging Face, Pi and GitKraken AI.
Why it mattersSteinberger also says CodexBar’s ambitions have outgrown its name and that its keychain alerts are now gone. The post does not explain which integrations are fully supported, what the alerts covered or whether the changes require an update. It is a small but useful signal for people trying to monitor an increasingly untidy collection of AI services from one place. The app appears to be becoming less “Codex” and more “everything with an API”, which is either sensible consolidation or the beginning of a very ambitious settings screen.
Discuss: Should tools such as CodexBar become neutral dashboards for many AI services, or does bundling them together create more complexity than it removes?
