AWS has launched CloudWatch Omni, a new observability tool that brings telemetry from AI agents, applications and infrastructure into one view. It can automatically map application topologies, accept natural-language and SQL queries through a built-in DevOps Agent, and connect with agent frameworks and independent evaluation tools, according to InfoWorld.
Why it mattersThe practical promise is less hunting through dashboards and more understanding what an agent actually did across a live system. The catch is familiar: analysts cited by InfoWorld raise concerns about vendor lock-in and potentially expensive telemetry ingestion. AWS has made agent visibility a product category. Now customers must decide whether convenience is worth another layer of AWS dependence.
