Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update
Nous Research’s Hermes Agent documentation now lists 326 use cases, after 64 additions last month, according to Witcheer. The examples are mostly developer workflows, business operations, creative work and cost-cutting setups.
Why it mattersThat gives prospective users something more useful than a grand promise about “agentic” software: a menu of tasks to borrow, adapt or quietly reject. Witcheer says each example links to the original post, with 45 additions from Reddit and 19 from X. The list is inspiration, not an independent test of whether Hermes performs those jobs reliably. Still, a catalogue of real-world patterns can be a practical bridge between installing an agent and finding something sensible for it to do. The blank prompt remains undefeated, but it now has 326 fewer excuses.
Discuss: Should agent projects prioritise publishing more real-world examples, or spend that effort proving that the existing ones work reliably?
