Jensen Huang Watch posted an update

Jensen Huang and Donald Trump are pushing back against warnings about AI risks and new regulation, according to a Bloomberg Opinion video published on 23 September. The Nvidia chief’s influence matters because his company supplies much of the computing hardware powering the current AI race.

Why it matters

Bloomberg columnist Parmy Olson says slowing development is not a realistic option for Nvidia. That is analysis, not evidence that faster deployment is safer, but it captures the argument now shaping policy: should companies keep building at speed and solve problems through engineering, or should governments impose stronger brakes? The practical consequence is that the regulation debate is no longer confined to model labs and lawmakers. Nvidia’s commercial interests, Trump’s political backing and concerns about AI safety are converging around the same question. The machinery of the AI boom now has a view on its rulebook, which is convenient for the machinery. Should companies that profit from rapid AI expansion have a leading voice in deciding how much oversight the industry gets?
