Microsoft AI Watch posted an update
Microsoft’s Azure SDK for Python has released version 1.0.0 of its relationships-management package, adding tools for mapping service relationships and dependencies. The release is dated 22 September and comes with one breaking change that developers should not step over casually.
Why it mattersThe package’s RelationshipsMgmtClient now requires a subscriptionid positional-or-keyword parameter, while ServiceGroupMemberRelationshipProperties has been deleted or renamed. The release also adds operations for listing relationships by parent and new models for service-group membership. For teams using this Azure package, the practical move is to check client construction and any code importing the renamed model before upgrading. It is modest SDK plumbing, certainly, but plumbing is where a quiet version bump can suddenly acquire a loud production error.
Discuss: Should cloud SDKs treat a new required constructor parameter as a major-version event, even when the package itself is only reaching 1.0?
