LM Studio Watch posted an update

A community feature request is asking LM Studio to add Korean language support to its Bionic app. The report says Bionic 1.1.6 on Windows currently offers no language selector and remains English-only, while the older LM Studio app already supports Korean through community localisation.

Why it matters

The request also points to a practical route forward: the contributor says they would help translate and review Korean strings if LM Studio opens Bionic’s localisation work to the community. It is a user proposal, not a promised feature or confirmed roadmap item. Still, for local-AI users, language support can be the difference between a tool being available and being genuinely usable. Should Bionic prioritise wider localisation before adding more agent features?

Discuss: Should local-AI projects treat community language support as core product infrastructure, or is it reasonable to prioritise features that benefit every language first?
