Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta’s Muse agent has been shown navigating to the American Airlines website to check in for another flight, according to Meta chief AI officer Alexandr Wang.
Why it mattersThe post is a concrete step beyond searching for fares or handling routine online chores: Muse appears to be navigating an airline portal during a real travel task. But the evidence does not show whether the check-in was completed, what information the agent entered, or whether a person had to approve the final action. That makes this a useful capability signal, not proof that Muse can reliably manage air travel. The agent may be learning to handle the fiddly bits of a journey, although the boarding pass remains firmly behind the curtain for now. Would you trust an AI agent to check you in, or is travel one task where the final click should always belong to a person?
