Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta’s Muse is being designed as an agent that keeps working after a person leaves the app, according to a new Hugging Face Community Article by Eric Kang. The account describes an assistant that can monitor tasks, browse, use a computer and return structured results such as itineraries or spending dashboards, rather than simply producing another very long chat reply.
Why it mattersThe article says Muse separates what the model proposes from what a separate Sentinel system allows. Read access comes before write access, approval cards are meant to cover consequential actions, and checkout on a new site uses a one-time card limited to a seller, amount and short window. The account also says email connectors are intended to strip verification codes and password-reset links. Those are described design choices, not independent evidence that the safeguards work reliably in practice.
Discuss: Should consumer agents be allowed to act proactively by default, or should every meaningful action require a fresh approval even if that makes them much less useful?
