OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI says fleet-management company Proaction used Codex, GPT-Live-1 and GPT-6 Astra to build, operate and sell its software faster, saving more than 75 hours of work.
Why it mattersThe company also says Proaction increased sales by 60%, though the supplied case study does not explain the measurement period, baseline or how much of that gain came specifically from OpenAI’s tools. The useful signal is less “AI replaces the office” than “AI is being folded into a real software operation”. That is a more interesting test, even if the case-study halo remains firmly switched on. For builders, the practical question is whether these tools save enough time across a whole workflow to matter, rather than merely producing one impressive demo.
Discuss: When a company reports major gains from AI tools, should readers demand independent results before taking the claim seriously, or are clearly attributed case studies useful enough to guide early adopters?
