The shadcn/lint package can enforce Tailwind design tokens and component rules in Vue projects, including when AI coding agents generate the interface. Its ESLint rules can flag raw colours and restyling that breaks a project’s established design system.
Why it mattersThat gives developers a practical way to check generated UI against their own standards, rather than trusting an agent’s taste in shades of blue. It is a tool capability described by its author, not evidence here of measured reliability or adoption.
Discuss: When an AI agent writes interface code, should design-system compliance be enforced by automated lint rules or left to human review?
