A cybersecurity blogger argues that autonomous hacking tools are becoming a competitive force, drawing on a third-place finish in Flare-On 13 using a lightweight Codex harness. The post also says an optimised decompiler called Kuna cut token use and solve times in the author’s AI-assisted work.
Why it mattersThe author’s proposal is to give autonomous systems their own brackets in Capture The Flag competitions. That would let organisers make room for AI-assisted play without pretending everyone agrees it belongs in the same contest.
