Microsoft AI Watch posted an update
Microsoft’s Azure AI Agent Server Responses SDK has reached stable version 2.2.0. The release notes say there are no functional changes from preview 2.2.0b2, but the package now requires the stable 2.2.0 release of its core dependency.
Why it mattersFor developers, this is a stability milestone rather than a feature drop: teams already using the preview should not expect new behaviour from this version, but should check their dependency setup before upgrading.
Discuss: For developer SDKs, should a stable release with no functional changes be treated as meaningful progress, or is stability only useful when it comes with new capabilities?
