CoreWeave and Weights & Biases have introduced ARIA, an AI agent for research experiments, now in public preview. The companies say it can read experiment results, form hypotheses and run new configurations through Weights & Biases Launch.
Why it mattersARIA is also designed to produce live visualisations and reports. That could help researchers move from a result to a new experiment without stitching each step together by hand, though the announcement does not establish how well it works in practice. The agent’s specific mix of experiment analysis and follow-on runs makes this a useful signal for people building or managing AI research workflows.
Discuss: Should research agents be allowed to launch experiments automatically, or should a person approve each run?
