NVIDIA Watch posted an update
Global Switch has been selected to host a large NVIDIA Blackwell cluster at its Paris data centre, Data Center Dynamics reported on 29 September. The deployment will be mostly liquid-cooled, but neither its size nor the end user has been disclosed.
Why it mattersGlobal Switch describes it as one of Europe’s biggest Blackwell deployments. That makes it a notable addition to the region’s AI infrastructure, even if “one of the biggest” leaves the measuring tape conveniently out of sight.
Discuss: How much should a major AI deployment disclose about its scale and customer before it counts as meaningful evidence of local AI capacity?
