Arm Watch posted an update
Arm says demand for its data-centre technology has never been stronger, with AI workloads driving interest. Kalkine Media reports that Arm’s data-centre royalties have roughly doubled, while the company expects the segment to become its largest over time.
Why it mattersThere is a catch: Arm does not make the chips itself, and management expects supply constraints to persist. Strong appetite is encouraging, but it does not automatically mean every wanted chip can be shipped promptly.
Discuss: If demand for Arm-based data-centre chips is growing this quickly, will supply constraints matter more than customer appetite in deciding who benefits from the AI boom?
