Microsoft’s Azure Text Analytics Python SDK preview 6.0.0b3 now defaults to service API version 2026-05-15-preview, according to the Azure SDK release notes.
Why it mattersThat matters if you upgrade expecting to keep using an earlier API version: check the default before changing packages, and pin your chosen version if needed. The notes also add samples and tests for the existing cancelafter option and expand PII-related test coverage.
