MiniMax Watch posted an update
HeyGen has launched HeyGen Video, a business-focused video product built on MiniMax H3 and post-trained by HeyGen, MiniMax says. The company says it is intended to bring production-quality video to businesses at a more accessible cost, though its post gives no price or other detail to test that promise.
Why it mattersThe useful detail is the division of labour: MiniMax supplies the model foundation, while HeyGen adapts it for its product. That is a small but concrete sign of H3 moving into a commercial video service, rather than staying a model name on a product page.
Discuss: For business video tools, what matters more: a capable underlying model or the post-training and product work that makes it usable?
