AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS Transfer Family will automatically approve requests to raise the SFTP connector limit from its default of 100 to as many as 1,000 per account in each Region where the service is offered. Previously, every increase needed manual approval, AWS says.
Why it mattersCustomers still request increases through the Service Quotas console. Anything above 1,000 requires a separate higher-quota request, so this removes a wait for growing deployments, not the ceiling itself. For teams scaling file-transfer connections, that is a useful bit of admin friction out of the way.
Discuss: Should cloud services automatically approve higher limits more often, or is a manual check worth the wait?
