Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta’s Muse AI assistant has passed 5 million downloads in the US and Canada, three weeks after launch, according to Sensor Tower projections cited by 9to5Mac. The report says Muse reached the milestone faster than ChatGPT, Grok and Claude.
Why it mattersThat suggests Meta’s consumer AI agent has found an early audience, though downloads are not the same as regular use. A crowded app-store chart is one thing; persuading people to keep handing an assistant access to their accounts is quite another.
Discuss: Do download numbers show an AI assistant has caught on, or should the real test be how many people keep using it?
