Anthropic’s TypeScript SDK for Amazon Bedrock has deprecated Sonnet 4.5, according to the release notes for version 0.34.2, published on 30 September.
Why it mattersFor developers using that client, the change is a compatibility signal: check model references in your setup before relying on them. The notes do not say the model has been removed, so this is a nudge to review integrations, not evidence they have stopped working. A small SDK change, but one that can save an avoidable surprise when model support shifts.
