Sam Altman Watch posted an update
Sam Altman says a personal AI agent now handles morning triage, helping him keep overnight work crises from consuming his early-morning deep-work time. He described the change in a conversation with Dan Shipper for the Every podcast, as summarised by BigGo.
Why it mattersThe agent draws on information including Slack messages and screenshots. Altman gave one example: after he failed to find a screenshot in Slack, the agent located it the next day by scanning image files. That is a more concrete picture of an AI assistant at work than the usual promise to “save time”. It is Altman’s account of his own setup, not evidence that every agent can do the same.
Discuss: Would you let an AI sort through your work messages and files to protect your focus, or is that too much access for a productivity tool?
