Beeks Financial Cloud says revenue from its analytics business rose to £4.4 million from £0.6 million, following the launch of an AI system that monitors market and network data. The growth is notable, though analytics still accounts for 11% of the company’s sales.

What happened

Beeks, a Scottish provider of low-latency hosting and network services for financial firms, reported revenue of £40 million for the year to 30 June 2026, up 11% on the previous year. It expects revenue to grow between 7.5% and 20% in the current financial year, according to FinanceMagnates’ report.

The report attributes the analytics increase to Market Edge Intelligence, an AI system that monitors market and network data in real time. Beeks also plans to launch AI infrastructure developed with OmniPhi between January and March 2027. The software is expected to run on Beeks equipment at colocation sites or on customers’ premises; the company has not disclosed the size of its minority stake in OmniPhi.

Why it matters

This is a measurable commercial signal for AI in financial infrastructure: Beeks’ analytics revenue grew from a small base to £4.4 million, and the company says the business now contributes 11% of sales. Its next planned AI product moves into infrastructure for trading software, rather than simply adding another general-purpose assistant to the crowded shelf.

The wider accounts matter too. Beeks reported £40 million in annual revenue, but net cash fell to £0.6 million from £7 million, with the report attributing the drop to server purchases for contracts that went live near year-end while customers pay over longer terms. The AI growth story sits inside that larger business picture, not in a separate, magically self-funding bubble.

Our read

The jump in analytics revenue is worth attention because it puts a number on a specific AI product line, not just an ambition to “transform” finance. But £4.4 million is still 11% of sales, and one fast-growing year does not establish how durable demand will be. The OmniPhi plan is the next test: a product announcement is one thing; customers paying to run trading software on it is another.

What to watch

  • Whether Beeks’ analytics revenue continues to grow and gains further customers.
  • What the company discloses about the OmniPhi product, its launch and its customers.
  • Whether the revenue outlook is matched by stronger cash generation.

Discussion spark: Should investors treat Beeks’ AI analytics growth as evidence of a durable new business, or wait for customer and cash-flow results to catch up?
