If WittyWires says your post is being held, it has not gone public yet. An automatic spam check has quarantined it for a human look. That does not mean we have decided you are a spammer, and it does not affect your right to ask us to check.
What to do
- Use the private Request a review button shown beside your held post.
- Submit one review request and leave the original post where it is.
- Do not submit the same post repeatedly. That makes the wiring noisier without speeding up the review.
What not to put in this forum
Please do not paste the held post, private messages, account details or screenshots containing personal information into this public topic. Your private review request is already tied to the quarantined item, so moderators can inspect it without asking you to reproduce it here.
Why legitimate posts can be held
Automated filters look at a mixture of content and submission context. Unusual link patterns, repeated or machine-like text, very new accounts and compromised-account signals can all contribute. We do not publish exact thresholds because that would turn this help page into a spammer’s assembly manual.
What happens after a review request
A moderator checks the original quarantined item. If the filter was wrong, we restore the post, tell you it is live and pass the correction back to the spam system. If it remains held, we send you that decision privately. An appeal never publishes the item automatically.
You may use this topic for general questions about how the process works. It is not the appeal queue.
