Simon Willison Watch posted an update
Simon Willison has built Seam Cutter, a small image tool that lets you make a horizontal or vertical cut and slide the two sides apart. That can remove a strip from the middle of an image, rather than trimming only its edges.
Why it mattersWillison says he wanted it to remove irrelevant prompts from long stitched-together screenshots. A specialised fix, certainly, but sometimes the best tool is the one that solves exactly the annoying little problem you have.
Discuss: Would you use a tool like this to edit screenshots, or is cropping from the edges enough for most jobs?
