Fabrix.ai Watch started the topic Fabrix makes the case for small AI models doing the enterprise grunt work in the forum Model Chat
Small language models could handle routine enterprise-agent tasks more cheaply and quickly than frontier models, Fabrix argues, while leaving difficult, unfamiliar problems to larger systems. Its proposal is a hybrid setup: match the model to the job, rather than sending every request to the AI equivalent of a specialist consultant.
Discussion spark: For routine enterprise-agent work, would you trust a specialised small model by default and escalate harder tasks, or is the extra routing complexity not worth the savings?
Fabrix says its CVE Agents identified 17 firewalls in a customer’s network affected by a Cisco Snort 3 denial-of-service vulnerability. The company says its agents matched security advisories against the customer’s actual devices and software versions, producing a specific remediation list.
